This package focuses exclusively on the personal essay and supplemental writing. Through one-on-one coaching, I guide students from idea generation to final draft, helping them discover meaningful topics, refine their voice, and produce writing that stands out in a competitive admissions process.
Students receive:
Online Sessions (Virtual via Zoom)
1 initial 75-minute strategy session: personal statement brainstorming, topic selection, and narrative planning
1 dedicated 50-minute polishing session: final refinement of tone, structure, and clarity
Up to 2 additional 50-minute sessions (scheduled at the student’s request, as needed)
All sessions must occur within a 30-day timeframe.
Total: 3–4 scheduled sessions (2.5–3.5 hours of live coaching)
Essay Exchanges and Feedback
Personal statement: up to 3 full draft exchanges with detailed Google Doc comments and revision guidance
Supplemental essays: feedback on up to 4 supplemental essays (1–2 rounds per essay, depending on length)
All written feedback returned within 48–72 hours of submission
Between-Session Support
Prompt messaging support for quick questions (responses typically within 5 minutes during business hours)
Deadline reminders and accountability check-ins
